Concerto No. 5 is written in E minor. The first movement has a Slavic flavor, and begins with a lyrical dialogue between soloist and orchestra. The second movement is written in E major and consists of two contrasting parts reminiscent of Ravel and Rachmaninov.The final movement is spirited with humor, energy and fun!
