Mambo was originally composed for solo piano. While on South American tour in Bogota, Columbia, Peskanov was warming up with Mambo backstage and soon was joined by a gifted violinist, Lourdes Lobo, who improvised a beautiful rendition of this piece. Later, Peskanov adopted this arrangement for Flute, to perform with his wife, Lu Ann. The following clip illustrates the live performance of this composition .
